Quality Window Data Access SDK
QWAccess is a developers tool that allows the developer to create a custom interface program to link data in an external database (such as Microsoft Access) to QW 5.
QWAccess is simple and easy to use, but does require the developer to be proficient in Visual Basic (v. 6 or .NET). In addition to the developers tool, QWAccess also ships with an example interface program that can be used to develop your custom interface.
Using QWAccess, a link from QW 5 can be created to the following data sources:
- Microsoft Access
- Oracle
- SQL
- ... and others!
Time
Depending upon the complexity of the data source, most developers will only require a few short hours to develop their custom interface.
Cost
QWAccess is installed with Quality Window and is provided free of charge to any developer.
