Busitech Support Options
Busitech offers Free Technical Support and Fee Based Application Support.
Busitech will determine if your request for assistance is covered under Free Technical Support or
Fee Based Application Support. If it is determined that your request is a Fee Based Application
Support you will be ask ed to provide a method of payment before proceeding with the request.
All Busitech QW Software Product support offerings are available from:
- 8:30am to 4:30pm (Eastern Standard Time)
- Monday to Friday - excluding Canadian holidays.

Free Technical Support
This is telephone, e-mail or online interactive assistance for issues related to problems encountered or
errors generated when installing or using current releases of the QW Software Products. The current
release is the release listed on the Busitech download page.
Free Technical support does not include training (explanation on use of Software), custom developed or the trouble shooting of scripts, programs, databases, or interfaces that are not part of the generic software offerings from Busitech, even if they were originally developed by Busitech. These items would be covered under a separate fee based support contract.
Fee Based Application Support
An application is defined as a process created using a QW Software Product to meet a specific customer need. Examples of these definitions are Quality Window 5 applications created using QWSetup and audits created using the QWAudit v2 product. Also included in the definition of application support would be custom developed scripts, reports, forms, programs, databases or interfaces that are not part of the generic software offerings from Busitech, even if they were originally developed by Busitech. Busitech is not responsible for future version compatibility of any custom developed scripts, reports, forms, programs, databases or interfaces even if they were developed by Busitech.
Application support is not covered under the definition of Free Technical support and must be covered under a separate fee based support contract.
Fee Based Support Options:
- An hourly rate of $125 per hour will apply with a minimum half hour charge of $70 US.
- Payment arrangements must be made before support will be provided.
- Quotation can be provided and billing charged on an hourly basis based on the work performed.
- Quotations can also be provided at an agreed upon fixed fee for a specified project.
- The following Annual Support Contracts are also available:
- $600 US (5 hours support)
- $1,200 US (12 hours support)
- $2,500 US (25 hours support)
- Annual Support Contracts are for 12 consecutive months with no carry-over to next year
- Annual Support Contracts are per customer site with a pre-defined contact person
- Additional time will be billed at $125 US/hour
